Streaming Trouble

Apparently you don't see what you expected in your QuickTime Player, otherwise you probably weren't on this page.

If you can only see a blank display and the message Fetching data, then most probably there is no technical problem but rather I'm just not streaming. verify this by this link, if you can see a sample movie playing, all your settings are alright. In this case, please try again later...

On the other hand, if you see an error message like 5401 - Bad state inside the QuickTime display, you seem to have a configuration or a firewall problem. Please follow ythe following steps to resolve this issue:

1. Start you QuickTime 6 Player Application
2. Go to Preferences->Quicktime Preferences
3. Select Transport Options
4. Choose UDP with port number 554 or HTTP with port number 554. Please note however, if you choose HTTP with port number 554 you're likely not able to connect to any other site's streaming server. So whenever possible, choose UDP with the standard port number.
